I had written a longer review but my net connection was not to last and so here's my attempt to submit another one.
Prince, AFKAP, Symbol and whatever else he calls himself has been at the forefront of pop music for well over a decade and this disc is a tribute to his greatest hits and their respective video clips.
We get a smattering of footage from the very early days to his latest hits and we also get to see the hair styles and clothing fashions that he's displayed for us.

What do you do when the source material you have ranges from very dated video footage to good quality film footage of late? You put it onto dvd at the highest possible quality you can which is what Warner Vision have done.
The old footage is still going to look old so don't expect anything exceptional but it is still damn good quality for what you are seeing. The latest titles such as Diamonds & Pearls and Cream are the best quality transfers.
There are some tracks that have weak shadow detail due to the lighting of the clip so you may need to adjust your TV controls accordingly if you're not satisfied. Myself I left the settings and accepted it.
Overall, its a good video transfer and one that fans will appreciate.

We are treated to a Linear PCM stereo audio track rather than a compressed Dolby Digital 2 channel track. Good move and you can hear it right from the outset.
The audio is exceptional for a stereo music recording and you get to appreciate just how much effort Prince puts into his compositions.
