We start our story at the local CES where Steve Karamitsis (Nick Giannopoulos) and his neighbour are trying to get the benefits that they are 'owed'. Here is where Steve meets Celia (Lucy Bell), the girl of his dreams, or is it nightmares because you see, every Wog has his day and today Steve is going to 'bump' into the Minister for Employment (Geraldine Turner), Celias boss. This little 'bump' has cost the Minister some $3500 to which she happily obliges but has an ulterior motive to make a mockery of our hero on live television courtesy of the man himself, Derryn Hinch. Steve goes along with humiliation and soon finds himself being the star attraction, the Little Aussie Battler, the Wog Boy. From here it's full speed ahead as Steve becomes the toast of the town, wines and dines his new girl Celia and seems to be on track to becoming a national success story, until skata yinete (Shit Happens). "Ambition is just an excuse for not having the guts to be lazy." |

Presented in a "Full Frame" aspect ratio, this so called special edition begins on a bad note. It's not the greatest of cinematography and it soon dawns on you that it really doesn't matter if we're not getting the directors intention. I doubt a widescreen presentation could do much to improve the disc but some of you may disagree. Seeing as this is billed as a special edition, don't expect it to be rereleased at all. Whilst on the subject of video, let's stick to it shall we, the actual presentation is pretty good with very good detail, nice blacks and shadow detail and nary a blemish in terms of artifacts to be seen. Ehhh, is no bad.

Lishten mait, dis shoundtrack kicks arse orright and don't lerr enyone tells you udderwise. Well it does seem to pack a punch and I mean there is enough bottom end here to account for 3 movies. I guess the producers, Giannopoulos included, felt it was a better representation of the wog attitude toward soundtracks to have them full of bass and to forget the rest. Turning the subwoofer down as far as it would go via the amplifier still left it overpowering the other audio aspects during the respective scenes. One obvious flaw here is bad ADR work. There is many a time where nightmares of past audio synch issues coming back to haunt you but the low budget and semi-professional, with respect to hollywood experience, audio work leave a lot to be desired. If you donta laik da way we shound then you go bak to you own kuntry orr I maik blood you mouth. There are 3 language options to chose from: English, Greek and Serbo-Croatian. It doesn't matter which you pick as everything in Australias is the same, eh same.

With a supporting cast featuring the likes of Vince Colosimo, Aby Tucker, Charles 'Bud' Tingwell, Stephen Curry, Kym Gyngell and Tony Nikolakopoulos as the 'Too good F@#kin' Tony da Jugoslav you're in for a riotous time. If you don't get the jokes, get some wog into ya. You might even find that you already have and didn't even realise it.
