Jackie Chan and his team of commandos have just completed a mission in South Africa to rescue some scientists who have found a new, unstable, energy source but Jackie's team is double crossed and killed. Jackie makes an unintentional leap out of their helicopter and finds himself in a tribal village with no memory of who he is. Getting back to civilization is a chore and upon doing so he unknowingly reports his adventure to the agency that wanted him dead in the first place. He finds himself constantly chased and beaten until he realises that even his amnoesia cannot pursuade his killers that he knows not of their plan. As with all Jackie Chan movies, there are plenty of bad guys, plenty of fight chases, the obligatory chase sequence and a member of the opposite sex to take a liking to.

A damn good transfer for an international film. Columbia bought the rights to this disc due to Jackies increasing popularity in the US and have done the film justice by providing a pristine transfer on all counts. You'd think with the amount of fast moving sequences that the mpeg system would suffer but it comes up trumps thanks to the good folk at Sony Pictures DVD Center. Black level is beautiful, color saturation is nigh on perfect and detail is exceptional. The only downside is in the final few scenes where the fighting on the roof of a building exhibits and imbalance in color fidelity within the clouds. It could be the combination of an overcast sky with a high contrast film stock but it does seem a little off.

This is by far one of the best soundtracks on a Jackie Chan flick. Right from the outset there is enough activity in your room to please even the simplest of fans. There IS audio synch problems with this disc, but it has to do with the now famous chinese dubbing syndrome where even the American actors provide their voices once again in the editing studio so it's not your player, it's a feature of the movie. ;)

More fighting and action than his recent attempts which made it all the more enjoyable. Do what you do best Jackie and leave the acting and the plots to those striving for academy awards. The final fight scene is both entertaining and comedic at times and well worth the build up. I enjoyed it immensly and laughed alot more.
