Village Roadshow have put on a brave face and
given the Australian public what they want. A
properly 5.1 Dolby Digital remastered and
repressed Die Hard 3 disc. It seems they do care
about the comments you send them and have shown
this following the amount of feedback they
received when they initially released Die Hard 3
on DVD.
So what will you expect with the new pressing?
A full Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack that now
extends to the end of the credits,
re-mastered MPEG-2 video compression that has
removed many of the artifacts. Some shimmering
that could be noticed, especially in the stadium
scene, has been reduced dramatically,
The Music video that was on the original has
been omitted from this version.
So how do you get your re-mastered version? You
simply take your original copy to your place of
purcahse and you should be able to swap it for the
new version. You should NOT be charged for
this as Village Roadshow are doing it for free. If
you are to be charged, let them have it.

Armour of God is definitely not one of Chan’s better films. While the action is good, the weak plot and hammy acting make this a hard task to sit through.
